1 / Discovery & Research
It’s all about telling your story the right way, from the beginning. So, all branding projects begin with a deep dive. Here, we’ll chat about your business and you’ll fill out an Inventory Sheet to review from the start and the heart of your business. Here you tell us about your company’s passion, purpose, and target market, while also analyzing your competition and overall goals. What is behind what you do and why creates your true visual story.
Once your homework is complete, we will meet up and discuss. I can answer any questions and show you additional examples and samples.
2 / Visual Strategy
Next, we’ll work together to build your Inspiration Board. Collecting all things beautiful—your work, favorite existing brands, textures/patterns, your finished product, your office, your favorite colors—and create a one-page Inspiration. This visual strategy shows the vibe of what your final brand will very much reflect!
3 / Design
Now is the fun part! We will begin sketching logo ideas and discover the right fonts and then begin to build your new brand. Your preliminary proof will be presented as an electronic PDF flip book, with 2-4 creative logo options and variations for your review.
4 / Refine
Next, we look to you for feedback on what’s working and any edits you’d like to see. Choose 1-3 people (your best friend/spouse, a mentor, your business referral partner) to gather feedback and collect your final favorite and identify your edits for your final proof! One round of edits is included typically in our logo estimates. Proofs and approvals are all done electronically.
5 / Finalize
Once everything is approved, you’ll receive all of the files converted to user-friendly format to successfully launch your brand into the world including a Spec Sheet for you to share with your product partners to be sure your brand beauty continues on after our work is done so that your overall brand consistency is carried out successfully across the board.
6 / Build Out
Depending on what you need, we’ll design your collateral items as needed. Do you want to start with business cards and social media graphics? Is your website your biggest way to reach your client base? Are you preparing for a trade show and need some large display graphics? We can do it all and have it delivered directly to your home or business!
